A group of five children came including two  children who had been in February of that year, Zhenya and Nastya.
Host families can re-invite children if they are prepared to pay for their airfares themselves. The charity will only fund a first-time visit.

 The sea in February had been icy cold but with wetsuits in summer they spent day after day learning to swim and surf and became competent and confident swimmers. Anton in particular took to the water like a fish and mastered body surfing. It would be no exaggeration to say that for five weeks we spent just about most of our time on the beach and in the sea. Zhenya’s mother wrote on her return ‘I am ashamed to say that I did not recognise Zhenya at the airport. She came back so grown up and tanned’
