FEBRUARY 2009

A party of 10 youngsters from the Borodyanska region of the Ukraine arrived for a month.
This was the first occasion ,as a link, that we had hosted children from the Ukraine as it
was also the first time for the Charity as a whole. With  their group leader Tanya Soshko
they arrived to bright settled weather and early on in the visit climbed the hill in Harbour
Village to look out across Goodwick harbour in glorious sunshine and watch the ferry move
out.

As always exploring beaches and sea caves was a top priority. Below Nadia
and Ksusha explore a sea cave at Port Dugan and get an unexpected surprise!

It was a very happy month together with several new host parents expressingtheir delight with
the experience of caring for these youngsters.
